IE and pfeg up for a second award!

IE’s recent brand work for London based charity, pfeg (Personal Finance Education Group), is up for ‘Best Use of Illustration’ at the Cream Awards 2013 – doubling up on pfeg and IE’s 2013 Charity Times Award shortlisting for Best Website.

As IE’s newest recruit, I was delighted to be able to run a victory lap around the studio to announce the great news. The Midlands Cream Awards recognise the best work being produced by agencies in our region. This is not unchartered territory for IE – we were Cream Awards finalists last year too for ‘Best Use of Photography’.

Both pfeg and the IE team are proud to see their innovative, illustrative approach – which has driven and defined pfeg’s new brand. – paying off and gaining the recognition it deserves.

Hand drawn with a beautifully crafted attention to detail, the illustrations inject a sense of informality, youthfulness and character to everything pfeg. Mr Moola –one of the core character illustrations – has become the face of pfeg’s successful ‘My Money Week’ – a national activity week that provides essential financial education to children as young as 7.

The Cream Awards ceremony takes place on the 6th November at the Jam House here in Birmingham – just a short hop from IE’s beautiful Jewellery Quarter studio – so you can rely on the design team to emerge energised after a day at the creative coal face, dash home and get squeaky clean, before heading over to the awards!
