IE News
Let's stay in touch
We'd like to keep in touch – to share our client case studies and news, exclusive white papers and content, special offers, invitations to events, and much more.
We never do the ‘hard sell’, but we like to proudly show off the work we do for our fantastic clients in Charity, Health and Education (as well as related areas such as membership associations, the public sector and the arts). That way, as and when you need us, you’ll know who to call!
Coming up
We’ve just published Part II of our not-for-profit brand white paper, and we’re planning a digital white paper in the near future.
We’ll soon have news of a number of exciting new projects we’ve been working on for our clients.
We’d love to include you in all of these and send you more news in the future.
FAQs
We've put together a few FAQs to explain why we're asking you to opt in to receiving information from IE Brand/IE Digital, as part of our GDPR compliance activities.
Once you're happy, click the button in the email we've sent you to opt in to our email communications.
What’s this all about?
As you’re probably all too aware, the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into force on 25th May, and affects how organisations may process personal data. As a result, we’ve been reviewing the personal data that we hold and the way we use it.
What will you send me?
In the course of IE’s marketing activities, we’ll use your data to email you about IE’s areas of expertise, specifically brand and digital in values-driven sectors. We'll email you no more than once per week, except in very exceptional circumstances, and you'll always have the option to unsubscribe if you change your mind.
We may send you:
-
Exclusive content and whitepapers.
-
Invitations to exclusive events, or details of IE’s presence at conferences and exhibitions.
-
The latest client case studies, news of exciting projects or award wins.
-
Changes at IE or new service/product offerings.
-
Special offers.
-
Blogs and thought pieces.
Plus occasional transactional emails to check your details are correct and understand your communications preferences, which we can use to tailor what we send you.
What happens if I opt-in now?
By clicking the button on the email you received, your data will be updated on our system to say that you are happy to receive marketing emails from IE.
Over the next few weeks, as well as our news, you’ll be given the chance to check your details for accuracy, and to clarify your interests. This will allow us to tailor the emails we send to the areas that interest you, be it branding, digital, or both.
You’ll have the opportunity to unsubscribe from receiving IE communications at any time in the future.
What happens if I don’t give my consent?
If you don’t give your consent, we won't send you any more marketing emails after the GDPR deadline of 25th May. There may still be circumstances where IE has a valid lawful basis for emailing you in the future, even without your explicit consent. For example in service of a contract, or because we believe we have a legitimate interest for emailing you about something we think you’ll find useful.
If you’d rather we never email you for any reason, you can unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any of our emails.
Why am I on your database?
The reasons vary, but this will be stated in the email we sent you.
Because the rules for B2B data have always been a little more relaxed than for consumer data, the fact that you’ve never opted out/unsubscribed has been enough until now. From now on, we’d love you to proactively opt in to receive information from IE.
Will my data be shared with anyone else?
IE will only ever use your data to contact you about IE’s line of work.
We’ll never sell your data or share it with another organisation, except where necessary for our processing (e.g. through our CRM and email marketing systems) or where legally required to do so.
Who are you again?
We’re IE, or to give us our official name IE Design Consultancy Limited. We go by a few different trading names, mostly IE Brand and IE Digital, but you may also know us as IE GDS.
We’re the brand and digital agency for Charity, Health and Education. We help not-for-profits to engage their audiences – increasing their impact and reach through research, messaging, visual identity design, campaigns, behaviour change and digital (websites, apps and bespoke services).
Our registered office is at Aquinas House, 63 Warstone Lane, Birmingham, B18 6NG and we’re registered in England and Wales, company number 5177811.
