Now in its third year, The Bupa Great Birmingham Run is the biggest half marathon in the Midlands and featured in the World Half Marathon Championships.

Ollie, Oliver, Luther, Amanda and Alex make up the team flying the flag for IE and Reach, a local charity supporting disadvantaged and socially excluded people across the midlands. IE’s Managing Director Ollie Leggett is a trustee for the charity and spoke of how the run will help fund a new minibus.

“The new minibus will enable others to do things that you and I take for granted…. to get out and about and to have the opportunity take part in community life.”

The course weaves 13.1 miles around some of the city’s most iconic sites including; the Bullring, Cadbury World, Cannon-Hill Park and finishing in the heart of the city on Broad Street. If the smell of Cadbury's chocolate and the sound of the live bands isn’t enough to spur our runners on, the cheering from the rest of the IE team surely will be.
